Ever since our kids were little, especially Joey, they have basically been BBQ connoisseurs. It's funny because it's definitely not something that we cook very often because of how much time it takes to perfectly cook. Luckily for us, we have Pigman's BBQ in Kill Devil Hills! Our kids are obsessed with their ribs, wings and hushpuppies and they always want to take a bottle of Pigman's famous BBQ sauce home with us!
Jason and I initially wanted to try this restaurant out because of Top and Richard, the amazing guys who own it! These two are such active members of our community and consistently find ways to serve others through events and volunteering.
We knew we were huge fans of who they were so when we stopped in for lunch many years ago, we were immediately hooked! On our first trip in we just took Joey and he quickly put Pigman's on his top spot for best BBQ on the beach. Since then, we have added two more little BBQ connoisseurs to the mix and they agree, Pigman's is the very best!
Penny loves the wings so much! We trust her judgement on this but the way that she eats wings is questionable! :)
Eloise and Jason were pretty stoked on the BBQ Beach Fries! They were Ah-mazing! Usually Eloise just uses food as a vehicle for BBQ sauce and ketchup but she was housing some hushpuppies!
Pigman's BBQ is Outer Banks Mom Approved because of their delicious food, awesome service and kid-friendly atmosphere. We love that this establishment is clean and that they find so many ways to give back to the community! You can expect clean high-chairs and amazing staff who are all willing to help if you need anything.
I'm telling you, 3 out of 3 Krieg kiddos agree that Pigman's is the best!
