Brewing Station to host Backyard Benefit

When it comes to giving back to our local community there are a few local restaurants that really lead the pack to help with fundraisers and community engagement. On the top of that list is the Outer Banks Brewing Station. When you take a look at their events calendar, you’re sure to see special events that benefit any number of community projects mixed in with their epic concert scene.

This weekend you won't want to miss the Backyard Benefit at the Brewing Station. This brand new event is sure to benefit the tiniest Outer Banks residents and visitors as well as their parents! If you’re anything like me, you’ve been seriously missing the Outer Banks Children at Play Museum that closed last year. We loved visiting the museum and spending time there year round with our children, but for various reasons, it closed last year. Some amazing folks have put together a board for the upcoming Outer Banks Child Museum and they are working with the Dare Children and Youth Partnership to raise money for the brand new museum! Of course, there isn’t a better venue for a fundraiser than the Outer Banks Brewing Station, so mark your calendars for this Sunday, October 20th! You can head out to the Backyard Benefit at the Brewing Station to hear live music from the Blue Crab Boys and Trick Fly!

A suggested $10 donation at the door gets you in for all of the fun. The minute you smell the amazing food wafting from the kitchen, you’re going to be hungry. So plan to come and hang out with the kids in the backyard and enjoy a meal with friends! I'm already craving the fresh catch sandwich. The event kicks off at 2pm and lasts all afternoon until 6pm.

The Outer Banks Brewing Station is such a pillar of this community and commits so much time to amazing events just like the Backyard Benefit. This is just one of the many reasons why the Brewing Station is Outer Banks Mom Approved. Of course, we love the fun atmosphere for our family and the delicious food, but paving the way and being an example for our young community with events like these really speaks volumes!

Let's rally together this weekend and enjoy the last sliver of locals Summer in the backyard at the Brewing Station!

The Outer Banks Brewing Station has an amazing lineup of family friendly events over the next few weeks that you won't want to miss!
